This upper and lower body strength-based class utilizes heavier weights to provide a total body workout with balance, core and strength segment and chisel your muscles.

Why Try Chisel?

In Chisel, efficiency and effectiveness are guaranteed for your total body strength goals. Chisel combines upper-and lower-body strength work in an engaging format that maximizes your time as well as your results.

What Is Chisel Like?

Michelangelo isn’t the only one sculpting bodies. Chisel layers exercises to incorporate lower body with upper body work, incorporating balance and core challenges throughout. Start with a base exercise, add another layer of upper body strength to bring more muscles into play, then we add another layer of core, balance, increased range of motion or even tempo to intensify the effects.  Because this layering technique builds one exercise on top of the other, you have the choice to stick with a base or layered exercise or take the chisel challenge with the hardest options. Check out Chisel if you’re looking for sculpted, defined muscles.

Who Are Chisel Classes Best For?

All fitness levels are welcome in this total body strength training class to sculpt your muscles.  Options are available for everyone to experience a great workout. Chisel organically progresses from base levels to more advanced so you can choose your level of intensity.

Is Chisel a Good Workout?

Training with dumbbells challenges strength, core stabilization, and coordination. The fast pace of the Chisel format builds on a strong lower-body foundation, then adds components to the exercise for complexity and whole-body sculpting.

  • Strength. Dumbbells can be utilized to challenge the entire body and core strength. Strength training builds bone density, improves body composition, trains posture, and builds power for daily living.
  • Coordination. Utilization of dumbbells demands more coordination when executing each exercise or drill especially as we compound them. Participants can limit the range of motion or decrease the tempo of the movement until they master the coordination to execute the movement pattern.
  • Core Stabilization. Using weights challenges core strength and requires core stabilization throughout each exercise.

How Difficult is Chisel?

6/10. All fitness levels welcome. Options are available to accommodate everybody. In this class, the exercises are layered, starting with a base exercise, then adding components such as upper body exercises, balance challenges or pacier movement to progress and intensify the base exercise. Chisel offers the opportunity to level up and satisfy both beginners and those in beast mode.

How Long Is Each Class?

Chisel takes 30-minutes and strengthens your total body. You’ll feel so strong, chiseled and empowered after 30 minutes knowing you have sculpted every muscle into a masterpiece!

What Should I Wear?

Come ready to play. Typically, people wear sweat-wicking clothing that will offer ample coverage and will stay put and allow you to move with ease throughout the range of motion of exercises.

Cross Training Gym Shoes.  Be sure to wear comfortable shoes that offer support and stability as you lift, squat, and lunge throughout class.

What do I need to Bring?

Hydrate, my friend! Make sure you have plenty of water with you.  Also, pack a towel in your gym bag to catch your sweat, as you will be dripping and glistening. Most importantly, bring a great attitude and smile to share.
