What Is Band Camp Like?

Band Camp is orchestrated with lower body and core exercises using a flat fabric resistance band. The first half of class is standing exercises, the second half is performed on the floor. Each of the twelve exercises begins with the Band Camp Basic movement then crescendos into the Band Camp Booster, challenging the muscles even more! Then, an encore! You’ll perform each pair twice in a row so you can effectively salute your glutes!

  • Strength. These bands mean business! In this class, your muscles are challenged at a different phase of movement vice weights or machines making the muscles come to attention like no drum major can top! You will feel and notice results in your legs, glutes, and core quickly.
  • Balance and Core Strength. Band Camp includes unilateral training (one leg at a time) which results in twenty percent more strength gains. Balancing and stabilizing will make your core strong!
  • Mobility. Band Camp functional exercises recruit smaller stabilizing exercises improving hip and joint mobility, reducing your risk for injury during your daily life.
  • Safety. Load your muscles not your joints! Adding more resistance using thicker bands is safe, effective and a BOOST of fanfare for your muscles.

How Difficult is Band Camp?

How Long Is Each Class?

Thirty minutes of sheer fanfare for your legs. Warmup without the bands, then you will perform 2 sets of each Band Camp Basic and Booster exercises. At about Halftime, you will transition to the floor and continue the Basic/Booster pattern to sculpt your legs, glutes, and core, yelling for an encore as you cooldown and stretch.

Cross Training Gym Shoes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes that offer support and stability as you sprint, leap and lunge during class.

What do I need to Bring?
