Chocolate – Covered Dates

Ingredients :

● 25 whole Medjool dates, pitted

● 1/4 cup tahini, peanut butter or almond butter

● 2 cups dark chocolate chips

● 1 tablespoon flaky salt

Chocolate covered dates


  1. Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Fill dates with about 1 teaspoon of tahini or nut butter and place on to a prepared baking sheet. Freeze until set, about 20 minutes.
  2. Melt chocolate chips in 30 second increments, stirring intermittently until chocolate is smooth in a microwave – safe bowl. Drop frozen dates into melted chocolate, one at a time, removing with a fork and tapping to remove excess chocolate. Place back onto the baking sheet and garnish with salt.
  3. Freeze dates for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until chocolate has set. Serve and enjoy!
