      • As the senior vice president of programming for Crunch Fitness, Donna Cyrus spearheads the development of the group fitness classes that make Crunch a leader in today’s competitive fitness industry.  Since joining the company in 1998, Donna has made significant contributions to the field through the creation of entertaining yet highly-effective classes including “Cardio Striptease,” “Liquid Strength,” “Urban Rebounding”, “Broadway Dance Series,” “Whipped,” and the latest sensation, “Stiletto Strength.”

        Prior to joining Crunch, she was the co-owner of Club Body Tech gyms in Miami Beach, Key West and Hollywood, Florida, as well as a Reebok master trainer and lead creator of the Cycle Reebok Program.  Donna has presented at numerous fitness conventions such as World IDEA, ECA, and IRSHA and certified over 600 instructors in the Cycle Reebok Program. A fitness professional for 20 years, she is AFFA and ACE certified, and has presented programs in Sweden, Italy, Rio de Janeiro and Monte Carlo.  Her aerobic experience has placed her in spotlight roles as a principal performer in Broadway’s “A Chorus Line,” “Grease,” and “Pippin.” Additionally, as an accomplished actress, she has held roles on the small screen in two of the most followed soap operas, “Another World” and “One Life to Live.”  And, if you see the beginning of “Saturday Night Fever” you might even catch her stellar performance with John Travolta! 

        Recipient of the nationally coveted 2005 ECA Lifetime Achievement Award, Donna also created programming for the Crunch/Jet Blue Flying Pilates card and the highly anticipated Club Med Referral Program.   During her time at Crunch, she has served as producer of Crunch’s infomercial product and the  #1 selling video, “Fat Burning Pilates.” Under her strategic direction, Crunch has sponsored the industry’s leading fitness conventions including: ECA New York and Miami, World IDEA convention, The Miami Sports and Fitness Festival, and the “Crunch Sweats” conventions in Atlanta and Orange County.  As the creator of innovative programming for the 2002 Olympic games, “Kalifornia Fitness Festival” in Italy and Self Workout in the Park, Donna is sure to be a staple in the ever-evolving fitness industry for years to come.

        Donna attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and holds a B.A. in Speech and Drama from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. 

        She currently resides in New York City.
